I really don't think this is a valid criticism.

Yes he's definitely worked with Atlanta more than Houston, and even more than Toronto, but how is he appropriating when he's consistently displayed an appreciation for Houston and its culture throughout his career in various forms even before he popped off. Like he had a whole solo DJ Screw track on 4 The Dogs. He had Pimp C on Views. Premo was on Scorpion. Multiple songs with Travis and Bun B. Get Throwed flip on CLB, a chopped and screwed record on HNVM. I can keep going.

Like who does he really need to work with at this point to be good in Houston? Maxo? Big X? Meg (lol)? Sauce x Drake would be fire tho on some boi-1da shyt.

It's just hate and Drake isn't winning in the eyes of these haters whether he works with artists or not.

They never ask themselves why Kendrick ain't work with anyone from the Pop Out until now. Why he got more songs with Mike Will than Mustard and Hit Boy combined?

Drake has many hit records with Travis Scott (Trav biggest record is with Drake), he wrote for Beyoncé on multiple albums, has Pimp C featured on his biggest album, worked with Bun B, performed at HAW over the years.
