I think I am going to drop down to only hitting back once a week. It looks like I have golfer's elbow and they say one big thing that causes it is too much pulling/gripping. My upper back is already :merchant: and it can take a lot of abuse.... so once my arm is healed up I will just put all my back stuff into one day and hopefully give my grip muscles more time to recover while still hitting back up nicely. Then the other two upper body days will be chest + shoulders. I will have to figure out what to do with accessories. Might do 1 set of biceps and triceps direct stuff 3x/wk, we'll see.

I did a search for "tendonitis" in my log.... seems like every 2 months something flares up with my left elbow/wrist. I never let the shyt fully heal... I just let it get better to where I could lift through the pain. I already took this week off... gonna take off another one as my arm def feels better but not an absolute 100%. I will do some leg stuff to stay somewhat active and maybe throw in some cardio.

No sense damaging my damn elbow... I can make up the gains. Gotta think more long term. If my shyt is not better by the 26th I'm gonna go see a sports medicine doctor.

Im done for the rest of the year brehs. Looks like tendinosis, shyt needs crazy time to heal. Should have taken more time off from the get go, hope my tricep tendon isn't too permanently damaged.

Gonna buy a bike and cut down... just get down to like 160, lose all my gains and start over. I can get it all back.

Tricep damn near feels back to usable strength but again... I'm gonna wait until the 3rd week of June (have some vacation and work travel coming up)

Dropped my calories down to like 2500. :blessed: I have been on this bodybuilding diet shyt for so long, I forgot how much I HATE eating. I'm already down 5lbs to 210 and my energy levels are higher + more stable. I think once my arm is healed up I will "gaintain" for 2-3 weeks and then just finish the year with a cut. I will probably be under 200 by mid June though I will have lost some strength... so I will prob pop back up to like 205, and hopefully I can finish the year under 180. I feel liberated.

I couldn't do it breh

I went in and did chest and back yesterday. Bench fell off CRAZY. But back was pretty much where it was.

Only gonna do back and shoulders only once a week. Hit chest and arms twice as those are my weak points now.

Left arm feels OK. Gonna dial back the weight on tricep pushdowns... I think that's the source of a lot of my elbow problems.

Did chest and arms today. I think I am going to :camby: all my power movements. They are the ones that injure me. Left rotator cuff felt funny after 1st set of power bench, now thats out for a while. I do like working in a power rep range but my joints and tendons can't take it. Back and legs have been great since I switched to all hyper on lower body.... I guess it's time to go all hyper.

I did drop the weight down on arm stuff a bit to up the reps (to 12) and really focused on form. I think that will be the ticket. Gonna do legs Wed, back/shoulders Thurs and then I'm out for a little vacation until Tuesday. The week after that I will start my broutine (2 chest/arm days, 1 back/shoulders day 1 leg day)

First of all, got a normal job :stylin: So no more 10 AM workouts. I went to the gym tonight to see what was up. Did my chest/arms workout today. Bench was a little weak... lost edge at the end. But other than that :manny: Should be fine once I get used to it. Gym was no more crowded than during the daytime. Have to figure out my schedule.

Looking back at a year ago... I was 193 lbs. Woke up this morning weighing in at 214 lbs. Scanned over my log.... from Sept to December I gained like 8 lbs. 20 lbs over the course of a year is too much at this point in the game. Should have been more like 10lbs. My waist is 38" :to:

I made some progress but not all the progress I was hoping for. Still not really comfy with 225 on bench. Arms are bigger, which is good. Squats are up as well. But I think I am gonna throw in the towel on this bulk. Take 20 weeks and try and drop about 30lbs. See if everything I learned about cutting is actually true. Eating all these damn calories has always been a struggle and I do like being somewhat hungry. Plus with being able to work out at night, IF (but not fasted training) will be a breeze.

Plan is to buy a road bike and do ~1500-2000 calories of fasted cardio a week (~10 mile ride in the morning). Then cut the rest of the calories through diet. I already know exactly where the diet calories will come from. Maintenance has been hovering around ~3000 for a while so cutting down shouldn't be too painful. I'm looking to net about 2300-2400 calories/day.

Had a real shytty leg workout today. I just don't have the energy for that shyt at night. Gonna keep those for the weekends when I can fukk with caffeine.

Transitioning back to night workouts is a little rough. But I gotta do it. I don't think I will be able to work out at work until I really get settled in, plus the schedule will be a little crazy as there will be a bit of travel. Once we have a house I will have a mini gym in it which will make things a ton easier. I can do a little of this and that every day.
