Sasha Banks misses SummerSlam; Bianca instead jobs to Becky Lynch in 20 seconds

How does one look at Sasha and Bianca winning a fukking Espy and think that tonight was a good fukking idea?

She’s the female answer to a Brock Lesnar or a Kurt Angle, a legit athlete who happens to be an absolute unit of a woman with tons of natural charisma. They threw all of that away for??

This absolutely ruins Bianca, the only one that was able to lose in embarrassing fashion like that was Brock against Goldberg but that’s Brock. Kofi jobbed to Brock, never recovered and Bray jobbed Goldberg, never really recovered. I HOPE she can recover but when talent take losses like this, it doesn’t look promising.

They constantly book themselves into a corner, and their solution is always to break through the wall behind them and fukk up everything in the process. It’d be kind of fascinating if it wasn’t so annoying. @stro mentioned it before in the live show thread but they get no benefit of the doubt with shyt like this because it’s something they do time and time again. This same kind of booking squashed Kofi’s feel good title reign and made him look like a joke, and unlike there where if nothing else Brock came out of that whole thing okay, this shyt tonight hurts everyone (Becky, Bianca, Carmella even) involved and makes them look worse off than they did coming into the night.

Everything involving this match was incredibly weird since all of the talk of both women missing the show started, and they only made things weirder/worse.

• Advertising Sasha up until LITERALLY the last second despite knowing in advance that she wouldn’t be there
• Teasing Carmella, which immediately killed an already waning crowd following the news that one of the headline matches they were IN ATTENDANCE FOR wasn't somehow present
• Restored the feeling having Becky return and challenge Bianca
• Only to IMMEDIATELY fumble the fukk out of it by having her squash her after a Rock Bottom.

They really can’t stay out of their own way, it was incredible as it was frustrating. They killed any and all expectations only to suddenly raise them up dramatically just to do it again. Most of the buzz coming out of this show will be centered on that debacle (and Brock coming byke) but for all the wrong reasons.

It sounds like to me Vince got scared that folks were gonna ask for a refund and didn’t want the bad press for it. So he told Sasha, Bianca, and creative to CONTINUE to promote the match like nothing was going on while he tries to figure out how to get out of it.

So they just throw Becky out there and have her literally SQUASH their raising star just to get a cheap pop and I feel Vince really thought that would be his “Get out of jail free card” because he probably feels the fans love Becky unconditionally.

It’s really a TALENT how Vinny Mac fukks this up. How in the HELL you get fans for Becky’s return and then at her 5 minutes later.

What’s even WILD is that certain folks will make EXCUSES for that bullshyt.

They were determined to get 50,000 in attendance no matter what, no way were they gonna let that fall short by switching up the match ahead of time even knowing that Sasha wasn’t going to be in it. And honestly, the way they did things tonight could’ve actually worked if Becky doesn’t beat Bianca in like 8 seconds. A competitive match between the two would’ve gone a lot further, or having Bianca beat her would’ve done wonders for her and not really hurt Becky at all considering she’s been so protected and she’s coming off having a baby and a year away from the ring. Literally almost any other option you can think of would’ve been better than what they did, even just teasing the match and saving it for another show would’ve been better than what ended up happening

Nah because of the way Becky relinquished the title due tl her pregnancy after a long reign she shoul beat Bianca. BUT, it should have been a competitive match after a roll up to keep Bianca strong and the out that she wasnt prepared to face Becky. You then have a slew of great matches you can put on with them over the next few months. Have Becky be somewhat heelish but not full heel and Bianca as the enduring babyface. It literally writes itself.
