Tony and hogan know the real vince pre money so they kinda dont look up to him same way. Respect him sure but not like a fatherly way. Hogan/vince beef was about being seen as equals/adversarial friends and Tony atlas and vince problems were always cause tony dont kiss ass and knew young vince before he was a billionaire and never treated him any differently despite the up in status. Prolly still calls him vinnie jr to his face lol.
I saw once tony said hogan would let him ride in the limo every now and then with him and vince like early mid 80s by themselves, and that hogan told him “lets watch him sweat” and tony would be putting on his tony atlas persona getting all friendly but playing dumb with vince and vince would be seething pissed the entire ride. The older guys def tested him often you hear about it like The story of all the wrestlers giving him finishing moves Especially considering they ALL rich cause of HIM. He says ya gone ya gone.
But the rest in the doc They all see him as a dad figure. I mean he prolly more of a father to them than he was shane which is sad.
