I get going to AEW because they would have thrown a bag at her, but yall goin' on about heading back to the indies is :dahell:

No other promotion is gonna be handing out the money AEW and WWE are. Marks want people to kill their bodies for less money :hhh:

Maybe but that money talk is always funny talk to me.

Like when people use to clown TNA pay but you hear talks like guys like Sting, Joe, AJ, etc maybe making $100k-$250k+ for like 120 dates (with less expenses)

Verses

Guys in WWE making say $250k+ for like 340 dates (with much more expenses)

That really changes the perspective for me.

Depending on the lifestyle (like the guys that may be more family and down time oriented) working them lesser dates may be more beneficial.

With all that said, didnt ROH recently offer someone a deal twice the amount of an NXT contract?

That’s a win to me if you can make the decent money and not have to work as much

I don’t believe the injury happened in this match, he might’ve already had issues with it and this bump exacerbated them. He knew the writing was on the wall and Austin had next. He could’ve come back sooner IMO but was no doubt angry he’d play third fiddle to Austin & Rock. Then he got hooked on the pills.

Yep..... it’s stupid to work 100hrs a week when you can work just 40 and make decent money

:ehh:
it's SMART to work at the clear cut top company of your field for a good amount of time so IF you ever decide to leave, you command top dollar. or you could stay and re-negotiate for even MORE money.

in the tech field, i can bust my ass for google for 5 years straight OR as opposed to one of my former school mates who can go with a much lesser known company that gives him more flexibility and fair pay. i bet you would take the easier route, wouldn't you? of course you would because you're a moron.

Ok are we trynna have dialogue or do we wanna name call and fake net beef? Not even sure why/how this became about me or what I would do?:dwillhuh:

Going the conversation and dialogue route.

If you CAN work for a top company AND actually have a true fair shot to use your abilities to get to the top and make TOP PAY, but you have to kill yourself working long hours and days/months to get it. Of course I think that is the BEST way to go, as long as you legit have a fair shot at getting to the top with no BS politics.:mjtf:

But if you’re able to work for a smaller company that still pays well, you work exceedingly less days and can have more freedom and more free time. I don’t really see that as “the easy route or moronic”

Also other factors depending on family and lifestyle you want to live should definitely go into that decision.

I know people that work 6-9 months a year making $150k doing contract shyt. Then on their off times, vacationing/traveling, chilling with their fam or doing passion project shyt that also makes them even MORE MONEY.

And I equally know other folks making $250k+ a year, one guy specifically busting his ass but constantly complaining about never having free time (cuz he’s always working), due to the stress of it he started losing his hair at 28, and per him he’s never really going to get any higher in his company than he is (low key but not so low reason) because he’s black. But he has a VERY good job.

Ok prime example. I have these 2 friends in the same field. They had worked at the same company for a decade earning solid pay. It is a Fortune 500 company. There was an opportunity elsewhere to work a little bit of less hours with even better pay but the company hadn’t been around that long. One of em decided to dip for the newer company about a year ago. Cut to present day the newer company just received news the government is pulling their funds and now they all gotta look for another job most likely earning much less. Which one do you think made out better?

For that specific example, definitely the one who stay ended up better. But again all this shyt is unpredictable and nothing is ever for sure.

I have a similar real life story on the flipside. I had friends who both was working for Wells Fargo making great money.

Then for one, the opportunity came for her to leave and go to BB&T while the other had a chance to go to BOA but he stayed.

Well then that Wells shyt went down a few years back and the one who stayed ended up be getting let go. Then he tried to get on with both BOA and BB&T but those opportunities dried up and now he out here doing screen printing (making custom T-shirts) making a fraction of what he used to make and is too still looking for another job. He even about to try to go back to school.

The other girl still works at BB&T and was recently promoted, making even more money than she did at Wells.

Sometimes that leap of faith pays off:ehh:
