Two years ago, I really thought the Eagles had missed their best shot at a SB with the best roster I’ve ever seen assembled. SB57 broke my heart. Two years later, Howie somehow built an even better roster than that one and the Eagles have another shot at it.
Excited for the game, but also really nervous. I think the Eagles have the better roster on paper, but the Chiefs are also really good, and you can never count out Mahomes, Reid, and that KC defense. I’m especially nervous about Spagnuolo, his blitzes, and how Hurts responds to them. Can Hurts identify where the pressure is coming from? Can Hurts get the ball out quick and avoid sacks and negative plays? Does Moore's offense have options for Hurts to go to? But the Eagles also have Saquon, an elite defense, and are not playing on a slip-n-slide field this time. They can definitely win.
Should be a good game. This Eagles core from 2022-24 have been the most talented teams I’ve ever seen the Eagles field, and it’d be such a shame to not get a ring this era.
