This is one of the most ironic and crazy coincidences of the Super Bowl is that Carson freaking Wentz is the backup, lol. I will always give Carson love for 2017 but Nick ended up having to win those playoff games due his injury history. Then he finally won the Division with some average WR's so I'll give him that but it was only a 9 win season and they were one and done in the playoffs. His contributions to Super Bowl LII season made his time with us worth it.

With that said it was clear once Jalen was drafted, he was the future of the team and I'm glad they made the switch. Jalen has lead the Eagles to 4 straight playoff berths, 5 Playoff wins, 2 NFC Titles, 2 Division Titles, 2 Super Bowl Appearances in 4 years as the starter. Carson did not win a single playoff game for the Eagles (Nick won 4 Playoff games and the Super Bowl). Ironically he's in his 2nd Super Bowl just like Jalen, lol. The difference he was the backup in both and Jalen is the starter in both. Anyways, Carson is lucky Andy gave him a chance with Chiefs Kingdom, he's just enjoying the ride.
