I guess I gotta be the optimist in this thread since y'all dooming so hard. y'all got a real short leash for this man in a league where QBs throw 5 picks in a game or go 9/30 passing for 130 or so yards.
last week was his first truly bad game in a while and he still accounted for three touchdowns. He played like shyt from a butt and still put us in a position to win, but he's gotta be better, and I get that. But I truly and honestly believe he will. And it's going to happen at just the moment we need it to. Don't be surprised when the passing game gets going in January.
Reminder of how ugly shyt can get even in the BEST of years. You just need it to click at the right time.
I'll be the optimist with you, even though optimism and Philly don't go together.
I don't know. I'm starting to think this fanbase would rather have a dude who passes 400 plus in a game but still loses when it matters.
They have a VERY SHORT leash for Jalen in Philly. Goff didn't even catch this much flack after five picks in a game, so you're right.
I'm not worried about Jalen being able to put the team on his back if needed because I've seen it before. He does have this ability to find a way to win by any means necessary in big games. Last year was an outlier season for me.
I do sometimes feel like this fanbase is spoiled because the organization has been competent for so long. Dudes are allowed to have bad games and bad days. I agree that yesterday was the first time in a while that Jalen has looked that indecisive throughout a game.
I think Jalen is just processing too much and being too careful after the picks earlier in the year. To improve the passing game, he's going to have to take chances and let it fly. But on the flip side, after the first pick, these same people are gonna have a problem. So, he's damned if he do, and damned if he don't here.
