Braylon good keeping defenses from playing close to the line, but he's not a good route runner at all.

True, but he's perfect for a qb like sanchez who's inaccurate at times. He can just throw the ball up and let Braylon go get it, and he's also a good run blocker. Ever since holmes got his contract, his attitude has been :scusthov:

That's what Stephen Hill is for. He obviously won't play at a high level, but he will keep defenses safeties back and he's a good run blocker too, coming from that Georgia Tech offense, all they did was run.

I'm referring to last off-season

Team fell in love with Holmes, mainly Rex. Rex thought he was a super star because he always played well against the Ravens.

The 50 mill to him was beyond stupid. Holmes is just a baby and a drama queen.

Considering the Jets are still a year away at least for competing for a Super Bowl...they'd probably be better off with young guys playing WR.

God knows what they were thinking letting Santonio and Plaxico play with a young struggling QB in Sanchez. Then again this franchise never thinks.

I don't know too much about him, but if he plays the way you say then I guess we have a complement to holmes, and this offense.

A disgusted Santonio Holmes, who missed a handful of voluntary practice sessions while out of the country on a USO-sponsored trip to a U.S. Air Force base in Germany, pulled himself out of practice Thursday because he felt he was unfairly overworked by coaches.
"I was talking to the coach, letting him understand it was too many reps today," Holmes said. "I've been gone for a while, so I can't be at full tempo like the rest of the guys and where they want us to be at."
Holmes said he was slated for 35 practice reps, but left after 20 or 25. The Jets conducted their ninth and final OTA session before next week's mandatory minicamp. Holmes participated in all three workouts this week, but he missed the previous four while on his trip.

:what:

oh, this is another one of those "Jets fans/organizations" generalizations that you've never seen me display

Hold up, so you're telling me the Jets organization isn't out to grab peoples attention?

If you believe that you got your head in the sand.

This is what comes with that.

why are WRs always prima donnas?

It's funny, because it's true. They're usually either crazy or prima donnas, I remember Chris Carter once said it's because they're so isolated from the team, they play the outside of the field, they don't feel the same connectivity that the other guys do

Nah he layed into the new WR's coach in front of the team. It was bad form. Especially considering how his season ended last year.

Be happy you didn't keep Braylon, he was constantly injured and never made an impact in Frisco

I wish yall kept Braylon
