It's hard to imagine the cover-up go this far for one guy who was easily replaceable, unless he was out recruiting more than D-Linemen :manny:

On the other hand, I think U of Penn is now the stop U in PA state again. Wharton!
Oh yeah? Go Wharton!
Delaware County Daily Times Mobile : Spencer: Another child sex saga, different result
The piece begins in 2006 with Ward being busted by immigration agents after returning from a trip to Thailand, where he enjoyed copious amounts of sex with prepubescent boys. Fortunately for prosecutors, he brought home the DVDs to prove it.

It wasn’t the first time Ward had been charged with sex crimes against children.

Some 13 years earlier, the good professor was charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a minor, but found not guilty.

He continued to teach at Wharton.

Three years later, he was accused of soliciting sex from a 23-year-old undercover state trooper posing as a 15-year-old boy. Ward pleaded guilty to promoting prostitution and the attempted corruption of a minor.

And he continued to teach at Wharton.

After his arrest in 2006, federal agents went to Ward’s office at the university’s Huntsman Hall and found 80 images of Ward fondling a 15-year-old boy. The very presence of those photos made the campus itself a crime scene.

The university’s response to calls from reporters about Ward and his alleged crimes was, “No comment.” All media inquiries were effectively stonewalled.

I refuse to sit here and let people say the most outlandish ridiculous bullshyt about the town I grew up in and people I grew up around, because they've been granted a virtual blank check to spew whatever shyt they want (including endorsing terrorist activity) because no one is gonna check them. It's become the "Outrage Olympics" so it's open season. Y'all wouldn't stand for it either, if you ever grew a pair. People just aren't painting your entire town with one brush because of the crimes of a few within it. It's a lot easier to join the crowd and keep throwing rocks when it ain't your town. But hey if y'all would wanna allow that, then that's you, but I won't. And whatever that makes me in your eyes, I'll be that

dont worry dog... you wasn't the only one riding for Penn St

Since NYC Rebel rides for Wharton so hard because of his girl, I'd love to hear his opinion on the good professor Scott Ward - should we shut down the business school for awhile for allowing this to continue? Reduce the number of scholarships students can receive to get in to the business school? Ban them from case competitions? Nuke Philadelphia, PA?

Or not, because your girl went there, and you realize that organizational failures and/or crimes of a few do not justify painting all with one brush, or citing a "cultural failure" implicating any or all involved with the school, or the (for all intents and purposes) destruction of the entire program?

I really would like to hear your answer NYC Rebel. Since you were so vocal recently about Wharton's superiority

Even before his arrest on child pornography charges last summer, former Wharton faculty member Scott Ward had a history of questionable contact with teenage boys. So why was he still a free man? And why was he still teaching at Penn?

I'm waiting, ass clown. You ready to throw your girl under the bus as you have me? Or is it different now?

Ress can cry outrage all he wants but the fact is, his posts show that he's more outraged at our outrage in here than he was over what happened to those kids.

FACT

Answer the post about Wharton. You ready to do your girl the way you've done innocent State College, PA residents, PSU alumni/students?

Ress posts with a FURY and PASSION about our outrage over what transpired in Penn State but is meek and "I-i-i-i-i-i'm already past that" when it comes to his passion to defending those kids.

I can't even read what he's posting, but I bet the passion and outrage is there.....over our outrage.

Aw the convenient "he's on ignore" defense. Man up p*ssy and flog yourself for the sins of the culture your girl's school created

This story is still evolving. As it evolves and we find more reasons to be outraged, Ress would prefer that you stop being outraged and keep it back there.

Res' responses are disgusting.

dude is more worried about the reputation of his hometown rather than the sanctity of the children.

It's that mindset of not having your priorities in order that got Penn State in this mess in the first place..

Hopefully they discover more and eliminate College Football at Penn State for 7-10 Years Minimum.

Oh, don't think it's fair for your girl to shoulder some of the blame huh? Don't think it's fair for people to question her degree, or whether others after should have the same opportunities she had to study there?

Welcome to my world, and you think I'm not supposed to be mad at your bullshyt misplaced outrage.

Exactly.

Line up his posts showing his outrage over what happened against his outrage over OUR outrage at what happened. It's as plain as day.

This dude is more outraged at our CONTINUED OUTRAGE over a still evolving story than him being outraged at that story or the kids involved.

He's PAST being outraged over the kids. He's past that.
