Bernie is right to demand the party change its platform and having as many delegates as possible will help him in that fight.

Hillary is going to win 300 electoral votes. I'd say Bernie can win 330 or so electoral votes matched up with Trump. Especially with his appeal to Independent voters in a general election.

The Democrats are going to win the general. They are going to probably re-take the Senate.

And if they're smart, they'd realize that people have the appetite for what Bernie has been spewing. Bernie’s policies appear to us to be radical and unusual only because the Democratic Party has moved so far to the right since he entered politics. In 1970, universal healthcare, peace, strict financial regulation, and a livable minimum wage were bread-and-butter down-the-middle planks of the Democratic Party platform. Instead of toting the Reagan, neoliberal line, you need to fight for something more believable and the Dems routinely don't stand for anything and don't even attempt to change the narrative because the current reality has been fat to too many pockets.

Dude, none of this is remotely out of line of what the democrat rank and file are pushing for.

Then why did Hillary have to be pushed into accepting the fight for $15 and why hasn't she endorsed the McCain/Warren bill in the Senate i.e. resurrecting Glass Steagal?

We know where she stands in terms of military intervention.

The chair of the DNC is fighting against consumer protection against payday lenders.

Hillary has been on record as saying $15 is not good for the entire country. States and cities can set their own wage floors.

And Glass Steagal isn't a way to "fix" everything. You can do a lot more than that bill and tons of Democrats support an alternative that goes even further. And who knows, maybe she is a wall-street shill. Is that what you want me to say?

Its funny how often I have to keep saying that I don't hate Bernie, but his deflections, lack of accountability, and sheer neglect of rationality or the ability to be an asset to others is exposing him and you all can't keep plugging the leaks in that boat.

Bernie's campaign started from behind and never recovered.

He started too late

He was too far outside (to a Clinton? He's an idiot for not taking that seriously)

He has no connections

etc.

You wanna beat HRC? Then fukking beat her. Stop bytching.

whether they are smart or not wont matter because they'll be irrelevant in a few years anyway as long as the progressive movement continues to work instead of complaining about bernie losing

Guys, it's time to ignore some trolls. It's no problem in a difference of opinion. However, when certain morons start using troll tactics just don't respond.

Trolls? Bruh, I hope you're under the age of 21...because it seems you can't grasp certain realities about how much more complex life is than just moralizing about Bernie being your god and personal savior.

Bernie Sander's campaign has serious in-house issues that you are just unwilling to address.

Bernie shouldn't have taken this shyt as lightly as he has. And now its biting him.

If he was really that dude, he'd have at least joined the party a year or two ago and started laying that ground work.

You can't talk shyt about party politics until its time to play those same games.

Fund raising goes down the previous month and now Bernie is trying to rally the troops for a brokered convention? Sounds like someone is worried about being able to afford Tad Devine and Jeff Weaver's 6 figure salaries.:jbhmm:
Don't forget his wife's 90k salary for being a senior adviser :mjpls:, hope @smitty22 is still sending in that $27 to cover those salaries.
