It’s a great album. Mac Mall was dope and Khayree was on an absolutely amazing run in that 93-96 period.

I thought this album and Young Lay’s Black and Dangerous was Khayree’s best work.

Nah KC was fukking with the Bay before that. Rich The Factor first album was under the GLP imprint. I dont want to say JT discovered him, but he did sign the nikka. But you right KC loves Bay Area, pretty much got our whole damn style from them. Music, colloquials, vocal inflections, sense of fashion. Everything.

I don’t know. I noticed the change first on The Mighty Quinn. Sometimes he sounds like his younger self, but often times he just sounds different.

Some people’s voices just change thru time for whatever reason.

I was shocked when I heard his voice on The SFC and he said he was 14. All of the kid rappers I had heard at that time sounded young.
