W-w-wait...

The Los Angeles Raiders are more culturally significant than the Oakland Raiders.
:comeon:

For people born after 1985. The Raiders legend was established in the 70's breh. The Patriots either broke or tied the Raiders record for 5 straight AFC conference games played, and the Raiders did all of that in Oakland. Maddens winning percentage, all in Oakland. The Raiders won one SB with a team built in Oakland during the LA days, and havent been the same since.

There was a time the organization was considered the winninest program in all of sports, all because of what was built in Oakland.

The OAKLAND Raiders have played in 4 out of 5 Conference Championship Games evey decade since the bowl era began.

I doubt Jerry jones would like that one bit.
Jerry cant say shyt they'd be in San Antonio not Dallas :yeshrug:

The Raiders would be huge down here, they could own South Texas. From SA to Corpus all the way down through the Valley, they'd run it

They got a stadium they can use for the short term, and the city will give them their own stadium or renovate the Alamodome

Any relocation has to be voted upon by the owners so Jerry Jones can say shyt. He also has enough clout with owners and the NFL to kill the deal if he doesn't like it.

I said "culturally", not football wise.

(I was born before 1985, btw.)

Checking a couple of Raider forums.. a squeeze play to get Mark Davis to sell the team might be on. Even though the Vegas move has lost some steam the owners could still vote no on the move and getting something built in Oakland is still a hurdle. Looks more and more like the league wants the Raiders to have a billionaire owner

LA Raiders have no culture other than being associated with Cube, and the one SB with Allen. From a football standpoint Oakland is its culture. We faced Lombardi in the Super Bowl. That's how far back this Oakland Culture thing goes. They weren't dominating while they were there, so I understand the connection, but in reality it cost the organization way more than it brought it.

Mark is looking for a 3 party investor, Lott has a 3rd party investor plus 60 Bay Area corporations backing the Raiders to stay in the Bay, and the land. This shyt has gotten beyond ridiculous because the media is complicit in shytting on Oakland, while propping up all these other places that make zero financial sense. Mark doesn't want to be in Oakland because he doesn't fit into the Bay Areas culture period. He wants to be in SoCal and play big shot to bunch of people who doesn't know who he really is, but fortunately for Oakland his incompetence is showing the world what his daddy, and most a Bay Area fans already knew.

They've been wanting the Davis' to sell for years. All theses billionaires in the bay and the Raiders were slumming it because the owners ain't got bank to flex like that. I think every league saw what happened here with the Warriors then realized Oakland is a location to jump on.

The problem with Mark is he wants a deal like his pop's had with his investors, but ain't no one falling for that hustle no more.

And those things are huge.

Then you have Bo.

Those things culturally hold more weight than Oakland Raider history. Sorry.

Jones played a part in us not getting LA, ain't no way he allows us in his state. Seems like the NFL is putting the squeeze on Davis hoping he throws in the towel. We'll probably be in Oakland for at least two more years :yeshrug:

only on the Coli are the Raiders considered one of the league's most popular teams. in real life they cant even sell out:deadrose:. NFC East teams all have decades long waiting lists for season tickets, while raiders cover thousands of seats with tarps:russ:
