Jack having PTSD seeing all those kids lying there and thinking they were dead, the mature themes of the show continue. PTSD, depression, child brain washing, etc.
Maybe now the Scottsman will be the one to snap Jack out of his funk. When one of Jack's hallucinations kicks in the Scottsman comes through and fights the depression and suicidal thoughts off?

The thing is, that story seems to be closer to the truth (in the show's mythology) than the "Brother Sun and Sister Moon" story that Jack told her:
If I understand what I'm seeing, the original "evil" that Aku broke off from looks like it was created by the same Big Bang that created the stars at the beginning of the universe.
Finally caught up with all the episodes. Can't believe this greatness was on that long of a hiatus.

wikipedia has it as both 8 and 10 episodes....... so I can't say for certain.
Hate to interrupt the love train, but the last two episodes were "meh". I get how that happens though, since season 5 is more like a single movie broken up into 8 or 10 episodes, each episode wont necessarily be cohesive or have much action- because it's a part of a larger story.
I'm starting to feel like I can't judge this season from episode to episode, and instead will have to wait until it's done.

I been watching Dragon Ball Kai so i can prepare myself to watch the English dub of Dragon Ball Super even though i have seen like 3 seasons of it in Japanese. I stopped it there.
