I feel you on both points. I'm a bit clumsy too, so I'm just going to go ahead and invest in the added protection. I hope that Gorilla Glass 5 is as durable as the glass on the legendary S2 joints. That bytch was so tough! I'd still have that phone if not for the battery blowing up. I doubt it because what made that glass so tough was the thick glass when Samsung produced larger, more bulky phones. Since everything is slimmer now, there is less protection (regardless of what the producers of Gorilla Glass and Samsung says). Even though I never owned the S3-5, I remember the fallout about broken screens. I'm sure as others have alluded, the back of the phone will be the weakest part of the phone.
And these phones are sexy too. Aesthetic pleasure in a phone is kinda important to me. I just can do ugly phones! Samsung hasn't had terrible looking phones (IMHO) though. They have clearly stepped their game up in comparison to Apple who ALWAYS produces aesthetically gorgeous products, whether IPhone, IPAD, etc.
Major praise for the Samsung phone designs...a big CHANGE UP from the attitude problems fans had in 2014 for the Note 4 and the S5.
