Yeah it has that weird cartoon sound...lol. Something along those lines.

i submitted my replacement Note7 for the free gift but it's not the S7 or the Edge so I expect to get denied. They made me upload my receipt and you can tell it was a replacement Note7 return rebuy. If I get approved I'll probably give the card to someone I know.

For anyone that's already exchanged. Do you also exchange the accessories too? or keep them? The instructions Samsung sent me just says "Note 7 phone"

they only wanted my charger that came with it. But I gave them the accessories anyway, they gave me a brand new box

There are people on Reddit saying their receipt clearly shows it's a Note7 and they picked "other" for the device and submitted and got approved. I doubt I get it because mine shows it was a return and a repurchase on the same receipt.

It doesn't matter cause I already have the Gear VR and I got a 256GB memory card free with the original purchase. I just thought why not try?

Nah it will still work, as long as your receipt shows a recent date. Did the same exact thing and got approved. Also pretty much everyone on Reddit did it too.

Sure Samsung knows by now, but do to this whole fiasco don't mind throwing Note owners a bone.

Yeah I'm looking at this thread and it seems like even if it says exchange on it it gets approved

I exchanged mine last week, just took the phone, no box, no cables no chargers, nothing. Now I have two sets of chargers and cables. They never even asked for it.
