So if I get an S3 now, it'll be replaced in 5-6 months?

why are nikkas crying about this. it won't drop in the U.S. at the same time it does overseas so in reality it won't be 6mos here.

it won't be that great of an improvement in reality..my GNEx is beastly since I rooted it so... eh.

I'd rather have something with "Nexus" in the title anyway

new phones drop every 2-3 months so.. if you want something newer than "NEW" you'll wait til cell phones aren't necessary

5" inches is GREAT !

This is stupid. All you're saying is that you're ok having an inferior phone as long as the superior phone that drops next month doesn't have the same logo as yours.

Only folks that feel their phone is obsolete when a new, better spec'd phone drops next week are tech heads...and if you're a true tech head as opposed to a fan boy, then you'll feel that regardless

why do people act like an old phone is suddenly obsolete because a new one is coming out? how does the S4 coming out in March make the S3 any worse a phone? will your S3 suddenly not perform the same way it did when you first bought it whenever the S4 comes out? would you rather have them drop one every other year? not everyone is eligible for an upgrade at the same time... smh at being upset about a phone dropping 6 months from now

The phone I'm rockin (the Galaxy S2) is more than a year old. The OS on my phone currently is Jellybean. The S4, which won't be released for another 6 months (at the earliest), will be shipped with Jellybean on it. The same Jellybean that I have right now on my phone that's more than a year old.




Conversely, what OS are the people with iPhone 4's and 4S's rockin right now? What OS have they been rockin for the past few months? What OS is the iPhone 5 being shipped with?

The whole fragment argument right now is really beginning to show its age. At this stage in the game you know what your getting with these phones. Samsung seems to be stepping their game up with the Note launching with JB. But if you want the latest software you know you need to go with a Nexus phone. I bought a Nexus after just copping a GS2 LTE and this shyt is fukkin piff. Got a alert one day when I got home from work, takin a shyt, Jelly Bean. I was like damn. Plus the phone is beautiful. ICS redefined what Android is and then Jelly Bean just put a whole bunch a icing on it.

I don't beliver this rumor. The Galaxy Note is the large phone the Note is the inbetween phone and they got some other shyt that's the small phone. the note is 5.5in why would they release a 5.0in?

I'm just waiting on the new Nexus and I'm good. My Nexus S 4G got it's JB update last friday from Sprint. I love what I'm seeing so far with it.
