No disrespect to Sami but you can't really compare the WWE to other professional sports leagues. The WWE is solidly a pro Trump company.. I mean Linda is even part of his administration. The only reason the WWE is still operating right now is because of Vince's ties to Trump.

An NBA or NFL player can openly shyt on Trump without fear of real consequences while WWE employees are forced to think twice about it. Sami will probably get heat within the company for his tweets.

I'm only really talking about Trump here. Neither the NBA or NFL implicitly supports Trump like the WWE does explicitly. The China situation isn't even comparable because Silver supported Morey's freedom of expression. Players like Lebron that decided not to come out in support of Morey did so to protect their economic interests in China.

That said, I don't begrudge anyone for working there. It is certainly a tough position for the roster to be in. I just don't think it is right to say that the WWE's politics is no different than other professional sports leagues when that is clearly not the case.
