Sam had done a musicvideo (forgot for which song) where he had a bunch of eastcoast rappers doing cameos. Suge felt this was disloyal of Sam (this was sometime in '96, in the middle of their war against the eastcoast) so he called for a meeting where they reviewed the tape frame by frame, and for everytime an eastcoast was on-screen they'd beat him up. That's how the story goes.
