YUP YUP I fully believe this. I should have mentioned it yesterday Dilfer is very close to Baalke is probably repeating the same things Baalke believes

Yep we have to always remember teams us media folks to leak info to and do their dirty work.

It would not surprise me that their is an internal struggle going on with the team behind the scenes over Kap.

Not to mention what is going on with throughout the league with owners and GMs with kap.

But also remember the GM and commissioner is there to always do the owners dirty work. Their jobs is to make sure no visible blood ever gets on the owners hands.

"Better thab kneeling" - nah. Everything is legit once it makes people talk that talk.
True, but after those kids got death threats and called slurs just for kneeling, I wanna see true disrespect so the whites will fall back. They should consider themselves lucky it hasn't been outright Black Power signs or turning entire backs during that song, which would look trill. They threaten to kill over kneeling, let them see what true disrespect is, they think they're immune from it.

Councilman Brandon Scott wears Kaepernick jersey to Baltimore City Council meeting

While most of his colleagues wore suits and ties during Monday night’s City Council meeting, Councilman Brandon Scott opted for a Colin Kaepernick jersey – the San Francisco quarterback who has sparked a national debate by choosing to sit down during the national anthem.

“It’s a show of a solidarity of support for not just Mr. Kaepernick but for all the young people across the country who have decided to take a stand to get the conversation going,” Scott said. “This is about the issues. This is about making our country what we all want it to be.”

Scott on Monday introduced a resolution asking the General Assembly to authorize the committee to annually evaluate the relationship between the police and Baltimore residents and develop a strategy to engage the public. It passed unanimously.

Del. Antonio L. Hayes, a Baltimore Democrat, is expected to file legislation to create the panel when the General Assembly convenes in January.

Scott said it was only coincidence that he wore the Kaepernick jersey the same day he called for greater civilian oversight of the police.

“We don’t say that we have a perfect union,” Scott said. “We say we are always working toward a more perfect union. We have a lot of issues going on in this country.”

Kaepernick sparked debate during the preseason when he sat down during the national anthem. He told NFL.com that he did not stand for the Star Spangled Banner because he didn’t want to “show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.”

As for joining his teammates and other players and coaches from around the league who made varied gestures during the playing of the national anthem this past weekend, Bethea said, "I did it to keep the conversation going. A lot more guys in the league want to do it but they are afraid. You see (Broncoslinebacker) Brandon Marshall already lost endorsements."

Antoine Bethea went to Howard? :ohhh:
