I'd give it a 9 out of 10. It's really amazing, I've been hooked since I copped it. Put in like 15 hours so far.

ive only played bloodborne, will i like this? the last side scroller i completed was a metroidvania called xeodrifter. what do i need to know so i wont go completely blind since i heard it dont teach shyt like any other from software game.

You might, it's tough to say. I personally love it, and it has a lot of metroidvania aspects to it with traversal and short cuts etc. Just mixed with systems from the Souls games.
