Ya but HBO requires you to keep the app up. Which is stupid.

The Airplay API is capable of maintaining video streams even if you're in another app. But for some reason most of the apps don't support it. Maybe it's so it won't have to compete for processing power? I have no clue.

Out of the 3 main apps I use to stream to my AppleTV: SlingPlayer, HBOGo, StreamToMe.

Only StreamToMe allows me to play the video and go about my business and use other apps.

Apple heads are in general morons.

But yeah, M$ will do fine. The RT will find a solid community. The entire concept of putting windows on the ARM software was CRITICAL to M$'s transforming itself to a cutting edge company. RT is designed to compete with ANDROID, not Mac OSX morons. Its designed to be powerful, yet run on rudimentary hardware like ARM based devices.

Even if Windows RT does sell blockbuster units, its FAR from a fail, because it allows M$ to compete across ALL ecosystems, not just on devices that support x86 hardware. RT will stick around and be a thorn in your side like jesus and the isralelites were in Pharoah's egpyt.

Yeah after the fire sale happens. Its obvious the product is a flop and wont change. Its hp touchpad status but I respect you still thinking its a success just because its made. The advertising alone behind it means they expected more.
