coinbase wallet > dex exchange> than sell to coinbase and cash out...

Please help me understand something.

What's the difference from:

1) Transferring from CB Wallet to coinbase, then cashing out
Vs.
2) Tranferring from CB Wallet to uniswap, converting or leaving the coin as is, then selling to coinbase
