How long ago was that? There's a thread in here talking about those mlm things. It's been around for a while now. Don't know if that was after you went thru that experience but hopefully it helped others not make the same mistakes.
Amway, shyt like 2013. They give you, your money back if you don't like it. Even if you sold some shyt. White folks dont like bad advertising.
OG and 7Linx, in 2010, the broke af days.
They all have the same template. Black marketers saying you can do this shyt. A black celeb as the face like Willie D or Juelz Santana, the white CEOs generally exclusively work with Black folks. So when I seen this company working with Hbcus, knowing nikkas, feeling comfortable talking to nikkas, I am like, wait, white people with money dont really know Black people like that. But MLMs owners generally do because BP are mainly the most accessible to MLMs that ain't elite. No one else would even touch it. But that's because we are left out of the economic marketplace as a collective.
I can tell this guy is a former MLM owner because he's running the business like a MLM. The first mistake he made was trusting a white guy without managing the video of the event. These White CEOs from MLMs are generally on point in terms of presentation. My guess is, he felt white people might be different when you gotta manage them the MOST!
Generally, MLMs are known for good conferences and events. That's a big part of their recruitment.
