*sigh* I get that its cheaper and faster to do it this way for the current gen systems but they're better off simply leaving well alone.

I know Saints Row is doing everything possible to get away from the GTA clone arguments but its time to go back to that SR2 formula well balanced gang warfare and fukkery

They definitely should have kept gang warfare as the focus. GTA doesn't even focus on gangs as much like they did in the PS2/Xbox generation.

Purchased SR3 off of the strength of how brilliant 2 was.
The city wasn't the most immersive, but if felt alive.
SR3, however? The missions, characters, storyline, and city were all trash. Game had absolutely no soul.
Complete trash and it's one of the worst purchases I've ever made regarding videogaming.
I'd play SR4 if it was offered for free.
There's no way they get my money again after the 3rd installment. Typical case of if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

damn this shyt is so :flabbynsick: SR2 was the best one. Had the well written comedy/jokes and still had a good story.

I like 3 and 4 but this shyt is just too :flabbynsick:

The problem is Deep Silver ain't got the pockets to make SR a true current gen contender. I think the series will just be cheap as fukk now.
