This is dope though, I can fukk with it. GSNT2 was a big disappointment to me, hopefully he can deliver this time.

He's my favorite producer ever, but most of it wasn't that different.

I thought the single was different



But for the rest, i thought these were pretty much the formula. Royce even rapped over some of these beats.

I like this. This is what Sai should do. I remember he came out rocking with Alchemist and Scram Jones. ALC giving him the beats for Say yes and Stocking Cap for like $100 each. I had the Say yes vinyl on Rawkus, and I thought Saigon would be the next big thing, a mix between Nas and 50 Cent. Finally we got GSNT and I still believe that it would've been a classic if it had dropped when it was supposed to. Sai's old records were so raw, and this shyt reminds me of his super early work, when he was just mostly on his street shyt.

primo beats feel like he just has a formula or template where he plugs in a main loop and another variation sample+ scratched hooked.

now you could say the same about most producers as far as using some sort of template. but at least other producers switch up the templates once in a while. primo use to change his style every album. now it seems like he's had the same exact formula for a decade and a half. and i'm speaking as a fan.
