Just Blaze put me on blast on social media 1 month before this album dropped and it left a bad taste in my mouth so I was on some fukk Just Blaze shyt.

But Saigon gave Hip Hop greatness. I think that if the album dropped in 2007 like it was supposed to it woulda got 5 mics. But it was 4 years late so thay gave it 4 1/2 because it sounded 2007 era-ish musically and we were on something new. And I tried to side step my disgust for Just but the album was so under promoted it made me start to dislike Just even more......



...And when Busta Rhymes was making those faces as Swizz was destroying him, I smirked

His album is a watered down version of his other stuff even though it was a dope album

man i love saigon- i think he was dropping nothing fire all the way up to the debut album and beyond. the label politics just ruined his shot and some other antics but musically dude was sick. him and just had great chemistry, dude was dropping so many dope joints that wasn't on official albums like this:




he definitely had joints- that yardfather volume 1 tape is one of the best street tapes i ever heard. just fire all the way though. i love that first album, he could never capture that feeling again. next 2 albums wasn't as good production wise- but lyrically he destroyed them joints.
