Got stuck in label purgatory at Atlantic for years, got caught up in a bunch of beefs with Prodigy, Budden and others that didn't help his cause, then his debut got belatedly released but it was too little too late, and everything has been downhill from there.
To me he is the epitome of a rapper who was never able to translate what made his mixtape material great into an album artist. Just Blaze seemed a great fit at the time for him, but it became obvious that Blaze didn't have any real ability at artist development.
