As far as Best Supp Actor I've seen people saying Ruffalo may be a lock to win an Oscar. Keaton maybe got lost in the shuffle because some say his character was more lead actor. But still it's surprising. However, Spotlight already has the buzz so I'm sure one of them will make it. Not sure this is good for Stallone.

Best Ensemble would have been good for Creed as well..

Spotlight is one of the best acted movies top to bottom ever. No way it doesn't win ensemble.

Yea I don't get Stallone...and I havent seen Spotlight but I've seen rave reviews for Ruffalo and Keaton...so I'm very surprised they were left out...

I love creed I just don't think it's on that level ensemble wise. It's basically just stallone and Jordan and maybe Tessa Thompson. But there's like 15 people in spotlight including the victims that were excellent

I would have loved to see some more love for stallone though but I have hope for the Oscars

Word..i was thinking the same thing. It's not really an ensemble piece for real.

yeah, she needs to calm down. i know its reflexes at this point but 2 black films in the top 5, thats damn good. its good to come for these cac organisations but its a good showing this year. and pleny of dope cac films this year, from fury road, carol, brooklyn, revenant, hateful 8 ( last 2 still to open but i assume they are great).
