Your logic is off but your conclusion is right. This unfortunate incident shows the futility of fighting bombs with guns. Its another case for better mental healthcare, and depending on the culprit better diplomacy. Only cavemen think everything can be solved with might.actually, the nra stands to lose from this. it evokes memories of sandy hook, creates more insecurity in our nation, and whips up further calls for protecting american citizens. this is actually a huge boon for those pushing gun reform in america.
i don't mean to minimize the tragedy that took place, because it is a tragedy. but, today's events were a huge setback for the nra and other pro-gun activists.
