The Infamous
Superstar
Impressive performance by Rockhold, but I don't see him getting past Weidman. It will be a good fight though. Both are very well-rounded, but Weidman is either equal to or a step above in every aspect of MMA (minus kicking).
dude would be a huge draw if only he had a manager.
any scenario where weidman loses is always a win
He'll never be champ again
What's the point oh him continuing to fight
It's been reported his dad wants him to retire

money goes a long ways in brazil, hes made enough to retire
I think this is how the MW division should play out:
Rockhold vs the winner of Weidman/Belfort.
Jacare vs Romero (winner gets the next shot)
Machida vs Belfort (assuming Belfort loses to Weidman)
naw, hes basically middle of the road nowMachida is nearing his end but retirement talk (at the moment) is too premature. He's still an elite MW.

he has 5 guys ahead of him now, hes out of the picture for a couple of yearsYou act like he's taken a lot of punishment in his career. No reason he shouldn't regroup and make one last push for a title.

i think theres going to be a rematch between belfort/weidman either way

After re-watching I dunno that they shoulda let Lyoto back out there for the 2nd round. The sub looks good for Luke's highlight reel but that fight was decided in that first round
I know Machida said he was fine to the doctors when they were checking on him but he looked like he had no idea where he was from the moment they pulled Rockhold off of him after the 1st rnd
Rockhold v Weidman could be a fun scrap if that's how things play out since both dudes are pretty hittable. In between all the fukkery Anderson was teeing off on the Chris in their first fight and Lyoto was finding Rockhold fairly easy until that shot to the back of the head dropped him.
I feel bad for Jacare here, the Rockhold hype (based on Twitter) is gonna keep him "in the mix" for now as Dana likes to say. What Luke did to Machida was impressive yes but I've seen cats say they think he'd manhandle the prime Anderson Silva already online
