So you would've cut the legs from a Rock/Punk match that had been building since July to give a test run to a guy who couldn't have a good match unless CM Punk or Daniel Bryan killed themselves for him?
The problem wasn't that he lost to Punk, it's the fact that they killed whatever momentum he had left by jobbing him out AFTER the CM Punk feud. Dumped from the Rumble like a goon by John Cena. Made into The Shield's personal jobber. Lost like a total idiot at WrestleMania (this one is truly indefensible, and I love Mark Henry). It's as if the writers went out of their way to annihilate Ryback's momentum far beyond what was necessary.
And now he's probably going to lose to John Cena AGAIN, and look like a goon AGAIN. I'm still not sure Ryback is ready, but it's just pure idiocy at this point.

Much better to have some kind of personality than the 80s like Feed Me More. Still not really interested in him though. I wrote him off a long time ago and honestly it's more of booking's fault than his. You'd think he's some old WCW superstar or he has major backstage heat the way he continuously gets the rug pulled from under him. With his luck, as soon as he starts getting major heat as a heel, he's gonna get a random ass face turn and team with Khali.
Ryback wishes he was King Kong Bundy status, at least Bundy main evented a WrestleMania... Ryback ain't main eventing a WrestleMania no time soon. Hell Ryback won't be main eventing WWE Payback starring Randy Orton.
