There's nothing responsible about leaving an AR-15 in a rental car. That's clear cut irresponsibility. If you slice it any other way, you're just making excuses for her.
Firing "warning shots" is illegal and reckless. Shoot your attacker or leave your gun holstered. Warning shots can kill a random person half a mile away.

No kidding. Car rental employees are "supposed" to clean and examine the cars for the next customer. I mean, they have a checklist of crap to check (at least they do at Enterprise rent-a-car) just so things like existing dents, and scratches, and broken interior parts, etc. aren't blamed on the new customer.That employee who didn't fully check the car car isright now.
