I've mentioned in the few Nascar threads that assist on here that I watched that race and saw the crash... I thought it was nothing and turned to watch basketball or something. When I heard he died I was like
Weird thing is, I've always expected dudes to walk away from crashes after I saw dude survive this one in a truck race at Daytona:
I was convinced I had just watched someone die
It's a damn near miracle there aren't more deaths on the track. I'm not sure what the difference in framework is between these cars and cars on the road but it's amazing. Going 170mph into a wall, flipping in the air, getting hit by another car going 170mph directly into the driver's side, sliding 150mph on the roof engulfed in flames and brehs leaving the hospital the same night like....
" aye, when can you have the car ready?
People like,
"Dale died!!? We MUST improve the safety of these cars."
And now they can crash at 200mph and explode midair and everyone's good.
3,500 people die every day in America in car crashes.
What's the ETA on getting me some of those Dale safety regs in my Corolla?
Why wouldn't there beThere is a shocking amount of sympathy in this thread
Announcer called the shyt like it was a movie
Dale Earnhardt's crash that killed him look like nothing compared to this crash.
