Mannix going in on Tank.

ppl think I’m kidding but Tank won’t fight anyone with a pulse until he’s like 30.

Sad :francis:

That's fair.

Cruz was a decent step in the right direction.

But what about Ryan? What's he doing? Does he do anything? I don't actually know what he does? Does he box?

Fans criticize Ryan plenty, as for the media they don't dare imo cause Garcia got the mental health story which is either an excuse or real, whatever it is... the point is it's a sensitive matter and while a fan on social media or a forum like this can simply say their opinion on whether they believe him or not, a journalist can't call him a bullshytter and risk that we'll find out the problems were real and let's say he hurts himself or something.

Then "the internet" would come for the heads of these people who came out and said Ryan's bullshytting, they could potentially lose their job over something like this. They don't need that risk :yeshrug:

So if Garcia's mental health problems are not real they serve as a bulletproof excuse from media scrutiny nevertheless.

Ryan fought one higher tier boxer, one.

I won't discredit Campbell, he's a sharp, relatively top opponent at 130-135, no real weapons but has a fine set of fundamentals and has fought the highest calibre both pro and amateurs.

If Garcia does have mental health problems it's because he's aware of his limitations from a defensive perspective.

fakkit Ryan aint even fighting at all but running his mouth. I dont wanna hear shyt from him.

Meanwhile Tank is active and doing absolutely NOTHING except for looking like he lost against even smaller fighters than him on 2 weeks notice.

Pathetic :scust:

lol nobody takes seriously the ESPN P4P lists, Tank is a gifted fighter, not the worst resume but worse than what you would expect from someone who's supposedly a cash cow and with a bit of exaggeration could pick whoever he wants to send an offer and fight.
P4P fighter? No, not yet, there are at least 10 fighters who did more/better to deserve that

Ryan Garcia can crack with his left but an upright target and for now, he has to figure out wtf he's doing next year cause ever since the Campbell win he's moving funny. If he really struggles with mental health issues then I wish him to get better, if it's just BS then he should decide to continue his career including the big fights, or just retire.

I think Ryan is an effortless boxer-puncher

I always prefer those types of fighters bc they can win a multitude of ways

Tank is ripe for the picking, if you have a chin, good head movement, activity, punch output, and defensive fundamentals

that doesn't really describe ryan garcia...he has struggle in his boxing...he has plenty of fundamental flaws...right now his athleticism is carrying him

tank is way more solid with fundamentals than he is

for sure but some of the flaws he has (chin in the air, leaky guard, goes back in straight line, doesn't move his head, poor footwork) they have to be corrected sooner than later...if youre going to move him into bigger fights..every top lightweight is a danger to him..the "offense = defense" style he has now because he has fast hands and pop will only go so far

I wasn't clear on my initial statement...he's an effortless devastating puncher

He doesn't have to load up to get you outta there & he can do it from the inside and outside

I think he has the highest ceiling at 135

yea this is what I assumed you meant
He just be throwing punches out there like slaps but they be effecting dudes like damn
On some create a player tip he has the highest potential due to his physical attributes but his mental is part of his potential and no one knows where that is right now
