You need to ignore comrade rhetoric. They are willing to make you a sacrifice just for a perceived “better” geopolitical position. If you haven’t noticed, the bot farms from various places have upped the resentment towards us. The actors behind them are also in league with certain people in this country who have hated us for a long time on multiple levels.
