The Truth
Just found out he went to sac state n played football there too
Yeah he talks about it in the interview

But I knew that already. He was trying to make the league but realized if that wasn't going to happen then he needed something to fall back on.

Went into film and directed Fruitvale with basically no budget.

Thats crazy to me

At the beginning of mean streets
When you know his background you know he ain’t none of them Blavity weirdos. Home boy said his father used to make him volunteer at a correctional facility. He real and he not all up in the mix which tells you a lot.
Great interview when Ryan compared the similarities between African rituals and Black American get togethers was:wow:

That’s why I :rudy: at anyone saying black Americans lost culture. Fish fries, cook outs, Sunday dinners, picking fruit and vegetables, listening to your elders stories, etc.

I’m glad breh said it was healing for him. That’s wassup. :salute:

:ehh:It was kinda surprising to hear him speak. Like i see myself in him. Someone I can relate too. Not trying to put on act to be the black guy white folks love or talking "white".

Definitely refreshing. Cause these issa raye, type of blacks i cant relate too.
