Nah.
Its a well known fact that I have a true wouldn't spit on him if he was on fire type hatred for cam and I wouldn't even define his career by that one play.
That one play is for nikkas like Leon Lett and David Tyree who have 0 other reasons for you to remember them by

That play and lack thereof will always be the defining moment in his career and what he will be remembered for especially when it happened. Let’s not act like we don’t remember defining moments or lack thereof in other high profile players careers, so Cam isn’t an exception.

It depends on someone's personal definition of All-Time Great. Is it just a Hall of Famer or is it more. To me All-Time Greats are the top tier Hall of Famers. That's the Brady, Montana, Manning, Marino level to me. Russ is a HOFer, but I think he's in the second tier with like Favre, Elway, Steve Young, and them.

Notice I said some and not all of them :comeon:

Dude always falls off a cliff 2nd of the season performance wise and that isn’t all on Pete Carroll. He’s been the PG13 in that regard. Great in the first half, meh in the 2nd and that’s why he’s never been a viable MVP candidate.

Even if you wanna say some he aint nowhere near the top of the list so its stupid to say that.
And yeah he fall off, Seattle usually on their 5th string RB 4th TE and 3rd string lineman by the 2nd half of the season. Man already gotta do everything for them

It's not stupid to say it because it's the truth :mjlol:

He just doesn't have the full body of work compared to other greats in the league. That's not a shot at him at all.

How many QB's in recent years have had to do more with less when compared to Russ?

Would like to see him on a proper contender so he can remind some people just how great a QB he is.

Name them

Brady
Farve
Marino
Elway
Brees
Rodgers
Unitas
Graham
Montana
Manning
Aikman
Starr
Baugh
Staubach
Bradshaw

It's more easier than you think. He will move up on the list once his career is all said and done, but as of right now he's not in the top 15. Top 20, yes. Top 15 no.

That's irrelevant to the conversation as we've seen other QBs do more with less as well. Russ isn't the only one having to do it.

What hasn't Russ done?
Exactly so shut up.

We got different definitions and understanding of defining moment.

Won an MVP :ld:

Superbowl MVP :ld:

You know what a defining moment or lack thereof means, so don't sit here and pretend otherwise :mjlol:

Cam will be always remembered for not going for that fumble in the Superbowl. You can spin it however you want, but it's not going to change that. Just like people bring up the Seahawks not letting Marshawn run it in for that TD and letting Russ pass instead.

People don't forget those type of moments.

Props for naming them. The bolder are the only ones I have a gripe with. Elway was Donovan McNabb until Terrell Davis arrived. Brees is low key one of the worst all time great playoff QBs and piled records in a dome. And Bradshaw numbers weren’t that good even against his contemporaries.

I would take out Aikman as well and add Steve Young.

Bradshaw was one I debated most about, but I give him the nod over Russ because he does have a regular season MVP and two Superbowl MVPs as well. He needs a regular season MVP award IMO to help push him higher on the list.

Fall of a cliff means not MVP
You over exaggerating. He also in an archaic scheme running Pete ball and still thriving w a trash roster
