the east african community is an actual organization East African Community - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia eventually its suppose to be a free trade zone and have one government, and all the countries in the EAC speak english, the countries you mentioned are not part of it but even in those countries english is widespread, so obviously english would be more advantageous than french

well obviously they are planning to NOT be an isolated country, maybe you dont have any vision beyond their current situation but apparently rwandans have a grander vision than you do

like i said this is about leadership

English is widespread everywhere, doesn't mean it needs to be the official language of a country. Native language should be prioritized with an emphasis on being bilingual.

What I am saying though is that English does not need to be the official language for the country to prosper. The article is basically saying that to conform to western culture should be the aim for African nations, something I do not agree with.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, but apparently Rwanda disagrees with you, they have a much larger vision then you do and they seem to be doing good, why would Rwanda listen to you?
