no, i quit out of the game while i was still alive.

depending on the server settings, your body is still ingame when you quit. so you need to make sure you quit in a secure location

if it was a server wipe, everything should be gone (player-built structures, items, etc)

when you quit your body drops in the place where you exited the game at. your basically asleep and your body is still in game. someone can kill you while your off of the game and loot your body.
