If Democrats in Florida don't make that an issue in their talking points

it won't matter. the florida state house belongs to the republicans for the foreseeable future. republican voters no longer view russia as a boogeyman, they see putin as a hero and people like deklantis admire him. culture issues are what republican voters care about.

edit: now that i think about it, the republicans could try and turn this on the democrats by claiming that by not staying out of russia's invasion they have not only tanked your investments, but also raised your gas prices and food prices and every other thing that is causing a financial squeeze. never underestimate the stupidity of the voters.
