I would say that in light of that meeting, Ukraine did well.

Now Russia can either : not agree to ceasefire and make it obvious that they're the ones who want war, or agree to ceasefire and face turmoil at home due to Russia getting nothing from 300k men dead besides wasteland in Eastern Ukraine

even if they agree to ceasefire, it would include 20% of ukraine's land and probably some assurance that there will be no NATO involvement. basically the deal that existed decades ago but now ukraine is wrecked. that would be a victory to russia
