Navalny is what Trump would look like if he despised Putin and took his rhetoric to it's logic conclusion. Dude used to participate in and organize ultranationalist right wing marches full of white supremacist and neo-Nazi elements; basically a larger and more coherent "Unite the Right" rally. Of all the Putin critics, how did this guy become a championed media darling?

the guy was a dissident that's all anyone in the general public is aware of and cares about in west
it's not like Russia had this deep bench after everyone was murdered, imprisoned, or like Memorial(human rights ngo), media companies etc had their organizations made illegal by Putin
