china had russia's back in apr 2022 IIRC. it just wasn't being reported in mainstream news. i remember telling my brother to ignore US news as it incorrectly made it seem as if the "entire world" was against russia. in apr 2022 china was still buying russian oil for example. india too IIRC.

I am not of the illusion the entire world is against Russia. Nations have interests that they need to have met and Russia has filled those gaps where they could. How they did it is another conversation that if I'm being honest reflects poorly on the West in many ways. Russia has absolutely hammered at the colonialism aspect and I can't hate on that. But what I can hate on is when they do it just like how I hate on how any nation engages in colonial/genocidal/land grab bullshyt.

I'm not a nationalist. I'm not "My country right or wrong". If you love something then you honestly critique it. I love the idea of what the US can be and that is why I call it out on it's bullshyt.
