How the fukk is Russia maintaining a presence in Kaliningrad? Looking at a map it's hella isolated. Lithuania and Poland surround it on three sides and then there is it's access to the Baltic Sea (Lake NATO ). So what are we left with? You can't drive or rail through nor fly over NATO so you gotta do it by sea. Two options; Supply it from St. Petersburg which is functionally a warm water port, meaning that it can be used all year round. But that means taking off from Lake NATO which does freeze over in large areas and sometimes entirely.

The other option is to take off from the Black Sea and taking the Mediterranean Sea into the Atlantic . Past Italy, Turkey, France, Spain, Portugal then Pass by the Scandinavian arm of NATO (Denmark, Sweden and Norway say hello), through the North Sea past the UK, France, Netherlands, Belgium, ... All NATO.

Poland should just bogard it and say "What?"
