I feel you but Im not so sure I agree theyll go scorched earth. The Ukies havent, Taiwan is a lot smaller than Donbass is, more densely populated. Are they gonna order artillery strikes on urban centers? Theyd have to systematically order that sabotage piece by piece idk if they have the capability to do that without hurting themselves.
Also consider that the head of the Taiwanese opposition party was actually in China this week to discuss the One China policy and when he came home he had protestors waiting and trying to take his fukking head off
There are potentially thousands of Taiwanese turncoats the same way there were/are tens of thousands of Pro Russian Ukrainian separatists, they gotta keep their guard up.
