Manafort’s case is in the terminal cancer phase.

So what we’re seeing now is the stage where he is considering using experimental alternative therapies and natural remedies that probably won’t work on him but quacks and naturopaths need patients for their studies. He’s trying vegan diets and tinctures.

He hasn’t given up yet but the situation is dire and he is running out of options.

The doctors do have new clinical trials that may soften the blow and extend his quality of life and even palliative options but he is reluctant to try conventional options. Anything to avoid side effects.

In a series of texts reviewed by Business Insider that appear to have been sent by Andrea to her sister, Jessica, in March 2015, Andrea said their father had "no moral or legal compass."
