In my experience there's plenty of white military folks that are libs too, but it certainly may vary by branch or military community.

i think both of our experiences are sort of self selecting. the military people i'm more likely to encounter aren't my friends, but just people i see around my neighborhood and work assignments. they tend to be retired military and well off and have yard signs or positive thoughts about every scum republican running. you as a liberal military person will sort of gravitate towards others in the military who aren't right wing shytheads so i'm 100% sure you encountered plenty white liberals in the military.

it's sorta like how after every election people say "how did they win when everyone i knew voted for my candidate?" data would be our friend in cases like these.
