My reasoning is that I used to think that white people had too much wrapped up in the system to let it get away from them. I figured that the comforts of white supremacy would be protected above all else.

This past year has made me realize that this isn't true. White people didn't stop Trump from being elected, so I'm not sure why I should trust that they would stop Trump from facilitating the end of human life via nuclear war. Between Trump, their being unconcerned with the decline of the earth's habitability for humans, and the opiate and meth addiction, it seems as though white people have decided that white supremacy isn't an eternal thing now that China and India are on the rise, black folks have become somewhat more prominent in media, etc., so they would rather be dead than live in a world where white supremacy doesn't rule all.
