Russia Passes Bill Making It Illegal To Tell Kids Gay People Exist

Russia today is voting on a Vladimir Putin supported bill that makes it illegal to tell children gay people exist or that homosexuality is equal to heterosexuality, and provides for fines, jail time, and deportation for those who violate the law.
“The bill provides for Russian citizens engaged in the ‘propaganda of non-traditional sexual orientation’ to be fined, while foreigners could be arrested and immediately deported,” The Independent UK reports:

I'm interested from a statistical stand point, but for the longest time gay people were ostracized, yet there were still gay people. fakkitry on the other hand, which imo is the act of acting like a blatant fakkit, is only possible thanks to pushing of the 'agenda' publicly

Might not see a decline in gays, but a sharp decline in fakkitry. I'd consider voting for such a bill if only for the later.

I agree with this...If a person is going to chose to have homosexual intercourse, that's fine...

But we should not openly tell children that being homosexual is not any different than being heterosexual...

I didn't even know gay people existed until I was 16 years old...

Now see thats wrong because you cant put a man on trial like that because he sins against his own body but i guess God felt it was time for those individuals to perish. Even good people sometimes die horrible deaths. Such is life, friend.
